As I stood in front of the architectural design of the Royal Senchi Resort, I fully grasped why Ghana was named as one of the hottest new tourist destinations in the world in 2019. The resort is charming and offers beautiful scenery and peaceful surroundings. From the first moment customer service is always excellent.
Royal Senchi Resort is located in Akosombo, only 1 km from the famous Adome Bridge. The hotel is located on Tema Road - Akosombo in Asutsuare (Senchi Ferry, Akosombo) in the Eastern Region, Ghana.
Built in 2012, Royal Senchi Resort is the first luxury 4-star hotel in Ghana, filled with the tranquility of Lake Volta and equipped with the highest standards of hospitality. This resort hotel is designed with a combination of magnetic and pleasant environment along the Senchi River and the surrounding forest. You will fall in love with this beautiful building, because it is very far from the swamps and noisy city life. The view from the nature of Royal Senchi is the feel of the entire building.

As a media person, I was fortunate to enter almost all of the Royal Senchi rooms. And to be honest, I was very impressed with the facilities available. The rooms offer plenty of space with fantastic and colorful wall colors to create a comfortable atmosphere for guests. There is never a power cut because you get a guaranteed electricity and water 24/7. The rooms here are very nice.
With nearly 100 beautifully designed rooms and suites, the hotel is captivating with charming and influential decorations that will make you return. And if you want to know, there are special rooms for children. The rooms are elegant and tastefully decorated. All are fully air-conditioned and equipped with private bathrooms, decorative lighting, flat-screen satellite TV, refrigerators, wardrobes, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryers and work desks, as well as old-fashioned paintings and sofas.
Free toiletries and free Wi-Fi that are accessible are provided in every room at Senchi. One thing that characterizes Royal Senchi's professional staff is cleanliness. However, children also have the right to have fun, because they have fun jumping around in the shallow Royal Senchi pool. Apart from that, there is one of the best live bands you will ever find. From a distance, you can hear the sound quality of this professional music band with talented players as singers.
What I have seen is that this resort is an ideal place for business meetings, conferences and other special events. Strangely, after intense interaction with one of the officials of the Senchi tourism centre, I received information that important official events ocassionally take place in the resort, including a government meeting. Well, I wasn't moved by this information because the facilities here speak for themselves.
Royal Senchi Resort, overlooking the beach of Akosombo, is indeed made for kings and queens! And if I have to judge, I can say with certainty that all visitors, including foreign guests, receive their VFM (value for money) with the most important cleanliness, comfort, and staff professionalism.
