This Is Why You Should Cry Occasionally!
NATURE
As a realist, I can confidently say that Crying is an action the body needs from time to time. I met an older colleague few weeks ago in a meeting. Suddenly this man began to cry to the surprise of all the guests present. Some were very surprised, while others thought he might have lost his senses.
You cannot blame those having these diverse opinions about the sudden incident. They have never seen this executive man involved in such a thing before. At the meeting, several discussions went on and some of us thought that may have triggered the cry, but that's not it! After the meeting, I turned to him to find out more about the incident that happened a while ago.
According to him, he suddenly remembered how painful his little daughter died in his arms at the hospital a few weeks ago. It was and still is hard for him to absorb that shock. However, according to him, his doctor cum psychologist told him that crying was good. And there was no reason to be worried about doing this.
When you cry, all the pain and pressure is released from your system. It also releases your mind from negative thoughts and reflects your eyes from pressure. Crying also has a calming effect, reduces pain, improves mood, releases toxins and reduces stress. In addition, crying helps you sleep well, fight bacteria and improve your vision.
Visual sensation decreases during the day, so the iris, contractile membrane which is perforated by the pupil, is adjusted to control the amount of light in the retina. That's why sometimes you should decide to cry.
