Investors Are Fleeing From South American Countries!

ECONOMY

In fact, no reputable investor will ignore riots and continue to invest in a belligerent economy. The case in point here are the South American countries that are 'driving' away motivated investors because of the recent unrest in the region.

Both investors (long in the tooth investors and the prospective ones) are very angry at the increasing protests that have aroused throughout South America.
The investors have suggested that the ongoing situation, which is almost like a norm in South America, would weaken the countries concerned and discourage investors. Of course, this will also affect the entry of foreign direct investment.

The demonstrators continue to force their governments to crouch to their demands, and this is the norm, as observed in South American countries, especially in Chile and Ecuador.

There have been cases of election campaigns in which the government has even declared an emergency situation. This is proven in the eyes of many people, especially investors. Due to such turbulent economies, investors will withdraw from all investment products in the future. According to sources, Bolivia is worse because gas prices are down and exports are also affected.

The public protest are actually linked to price increases and other related problems. Meanwhile, the government of Bolivia is working hard to scrap the hikes, especially the transportation price increment since it's really been a major problem for denizens.

In contrast, other bankers in the US debt market do not see a negative impact on the Latin American chaos. They believe that some of them, especially Brazil, are showing strength even though investors are a bit worried.
